Declaration of Yogyakarta Without violence

In order to accomplish a secure, peaceful and free of violence province of Yogyakarta, the Centre for Women's Studies (PSW) Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) cooperating with Violence Victim Protection Forum (FPKK) organized "Jogja, Special Province Without violence"

"Jogja, this special province should be secure and free from violence against women and children, "said Rector of UAD, Dr. Kasiyarno, M.Hum. at the Jogja Declaration Without Violence which was held at Margo Utomo street Yogyakarta (in front of the editorial office of KR), Sunday (04/12/2016)

The event coincided with the international day of anti-violence against women and children began with doing gymnastics together, green walk, then declaration of Yogyakarta special province without violence recitation by Kasiyarno and Sari Murti, giving door prizes, and entertainment from Music and Dance UKM of Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD).

DR. Sari Murti Widiyastuti, SH., M. Hum, the chairman of the committee said that the purpose of this event was to encourage people of Yogyakarta to be aware of in order to care about fellow human beings.
