MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAM
Vision
“To become competitive study program with a global outlook based on Islamic values in the field of Public Health.”
Missions
- To carry out academic programs including teaching, research, integrative and multidisciplinary service to meet the national standards
- To produce graduates who are able to solve public health problems through inter- and multidisciplinary science
- To establich cooperation with government and private institutions at the local, national and international levels in the field of public health to develop the pillars of higher education
- To integrate Islamic values in the leadership of the field of public health
Objectives
The formulation of UAD Master of Public Health Program learning outcomes has been adjusted to the level 8 (eight) of KKNI and 4 (four) domains of SN-DIKTI learning outcomes. The formulated outcomes are:
- Formulation of attitude
- Formulation of Knowledge
- Formulation of General Skills
- Formulation of Specific Skills
Graduate Prospects
- Being able to solve the problems of science, technology, and/ or art in the field of public health, especially the specialization of hospital management through inter- and multidisciplinary approaches
- Being able to manage and lead institutions/ organizations that provide health services
- Developing research and development that is beneficial to science development and humanity, and being able to gain local, national and international recognition in the field of public health
Lecturers
Master of Public Health Program of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan has lecturers who hold professor title and doctoral degree who are experts in their fields, such as hospital management, health promotion and environmental health.
Facilities
The program provides internet access facilities via LAN (computer platform) and Hotspot Areas, as well as a library that is equipped with a digital library (http://digilib.uad.ac.id) and a comfortable discussion room to support student activities in studying pharmaceutical science. Air-conditioned lecture rooms with various facilities including LCD Projectors, Audio Visual, and others are part of the excellent service provided by the program to create a comfortable academic atmosphere as a place of learning. The existence of UAD Pharmacy, health clinic, canteen, student cooperative, ADI Cooperative (lecturer-employee) and various services make it easier for students to access various needs while on campus.
