INFORMATICS STUDY PROGRAM
The Informatics Engineering Study Program was established on December 19, 1994 with the aim of producing graduates of Informatics Engineering who are able to solve problems with information and communication technology. Informatics Engineering students are also equipped with an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities to be observant about real-world challenges. Graduates are entitled to hold a Bachelor of Engineering (S.T.) degree.

To become an internationally recognized and superior Informatics Studies Program in the field of Informatics that is based on Islamic values

- To carry out education in accordance with competences in the field of Informatics that are recognized nationally and internationally
- To increase lecturer and student research in the field of Informatics that is creative, innovative and effective

- To carry out and improve community service activities by lecturers and students in the field of Informatics

Competence
The competences consist of 3 areas of interest. Graduates will have abilities related to:
- Mobile Applications and Web Programming; related to knowledge and the ability to combine a number of mobile and web-based program modules in order to create an application with desired features thinking logically and in a structured manner in order to solve certain problems or achieve certain objectives
- Information Systems; related to knowledge of building an information system consisting of components related to one another in a holistic environment
- Multimedia and Soft Computing; related to understanding in designing and building intelligent systems for the various needs of human life activities that provide additional values and multimedia support
Lecturers
There are 26 lecturers. One lecturer has a doctoral degree, 19 lecturers have Masters education, and 6 others are currently pursuing their master’s degree. In this study program, each lecturer has competences according to his/ her scientific interest, such as web and mobile programming, intelligent systems, enterprise systems, multimedia, computer networks, computer security, and information systems analysis.
Supporting Facilities
The study program currently has 4 Computer Laboratories, namely; Basic Computing Laboratory (as a medium to support the implementation of learning and research processes for Basic Information sciences), Computer Network Laboratory (as a medium to support the implementation of learning and research processes for Network and Computer security sciences), Database Laboratory (as a medium to support the implementation of the learning and research process for the Information Systems field), and Multimedia Laboratory (as a medium to support the implementation of the learning and research process for the Multimedia and Intelligent Systems field).
