GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING STUDY PROGRAM
Guidance and Counseling Study Program is established with a Decree of Minister of Education and Culture Number: 0139/0/1984 on March 9, 1984. The study program has a vision to become a study program that is able to compete and be innovative in guidance and counselling learning and services based on the latest research and technology, as well as Islamic values. Meanwhile its missions are to organize academic and professional program that is based on Islamic values, to conduct research in the field of educational science, especially guidance and counseling, to organize expertise service programs, primarily in the field of guidance and counseling to the community. The graduates of the study program will obtain a Bachelor of Education (S. Pd.) degree.

To become an excellent study program in producing national-level educators with global outlook who are innovative in the Guidance and Counseling services based on research and technology that is integrated with Islamic values by 2030
Mision
- To organize academic and professional programs in the field of Guidance and Counseling based on Islamic values
- To carry out research in the field of scientific education, primarily in Guidance and Counseling based on Islamic values
- To organize community service programs in the field of Guidance and Counseling based on Islamic values
- To establish cooperation at the international level, especially in the field of Guidance and Counseling
Graduates Competencies
- Understand the basic knowledge of guidance and counseling and service concepts objectively and professionally, so that they can understand every symptom of human behavior, both in individuals and groups
- Carry out the basics of research in the field of guidance and counseling
- Analyze and interpret every symptom of individual behavior, choose and use appropriate service methods professionally to individuals or groups
- Establish a responsible sensitivity for social, cultural, religious, political and economic values, processes and problems that affect human behavior, so that one can interpret the behavior in relation to the conditions of Indonesian society
- Understand, appreciate, and implement the principles and codes of ethics which include the code of ethics for services, science, research, and profession
- Prepare assessment reports and research in the field of guidance and counseling services in a scientific and professional manner
Lecturers
The teaching staff consists of 2 lecturers with professor title, 1 lecturer with doctoral degree, and 12 lecturers with master’s degree from domestic and foreign universities, as well as 6 lecturers who are currently pursuing their master’s degree with a number of areas of expertise in Guidance and Counseling.

IT-based lecture rooms (LCD and Audio Visual), PIK SAHABAT MENTARI (Sahabat Mentari Information and Counseling Center), Individual counseling room, Group counselling room, Group guidance room, Library room (therapy library), Audio visual room, Classical guidance room, Journal and electronic book room, and Counseling Services for the community and family
